In preparation for next month’s FIBA World Championship, members of the USA Men’s National Team are taking the court tonight for a “Blue vs. White” scrimmage. With no members of the 2008 Olympic Team returning for the 2010 campaign, the roster is wide open for new American blood in international competition.Will a Kevin Durant led team have the same success in Turkey that the Redeem Team had in Beijing? We’ll find out when things tip-off on August 28th.

Prior to the FIBA tournament, several teams will gather in New York City from August 12-15 for the Nike/USA World Basketball Festival. The event will consist of a series of open-air practices, scrimmages, and exhibition games from participating FIBA countries. To commemorate the event, Nike has introduced several country-themed Nike Zoom Hyperfuse colorways. Seen below are pairs made for Puerto Rico, Canada, Brazil, and France.
